Excellence Reporter: Jennifer, what is the menial go life?

Jennifer Urezzio: Well…living years of a spiritual life I want to say connection. And, today that meaning doesn’t fit. Today, I feel out of sorts and longing for something I can’t put my fingers on. Days like this, the meaning of life is not something that I can easily define.

It is something that gets to be measured in little ways and in moments because all the other human discontentment is getting in the way.

I’m consciously transparent and honest to a fault so parts of me would love to say family, my wonderful partner – Warner, my community, my faith and yet today all those things seem to be not enough to feel like I have anchor in the meaning of life.

And, has I pause to contemplate this simple and powerful question. I begin to notice that stillness of my essential nature, that hum of Divinity, and ease once again fills me.

I ask the question again to myself and to my higher power – what is the meaning of life? And the answer is clear. It is everything. It all has meaning, it all is life. As the tears flow down my checks, I’m suddenly so grateful for this question and all of the synchronicities that guided it being asked. I understand that sometimes I decide not to see the meaning of my life and try to create all these reasons why it does have meaning to me and to others.

I suddenly realize that I can stop searching for the meaning and just feel it within and once again, I’m back where I started. The meaning of life is the connection to life.
