Scott Sampson: What is the Meaning of Life?

scott-sampson_560x336For me, the true meaning of life is serving others, both human and nonhuman others. This means serving my family, friends, colleagues, local communities, and the natural environment in which I’m embedded. I know I’m fulfilling that meaning if my local place is moving toward becoming a thriving place for people and nature.

Though I may not to live to see the total realization of this vision, the key is to be a positive force, helping to propel us along the path in the right direction. Oh, and it’s critical to have fun along the way!
