Life is a journey. We begin the journey with a lot of expectations. We are in a rush to move forward and attain our goals. Then the struggles begin and our emotions are aroused. We are shaken up and upset.
The ship we are traveling on hits waves and storms. We must learn to weather the storms, and realize that our emotions are passing things as well. They do not control us, we learn to observe them and watch them pass by, both the dark times and the light.
With empty hands and an open heart, we learn to savor the journey itself. Then life becomes self-realization and the spirit finds balance and harmony.
