James Fadiman on The Meaning of Life

james fadimanExcellence Reporter: Dr. Fadiman, what is the meaning of life?

James Fadiman: That’s far too abstract for me. However the question,“What is the meaning of my life?” is one that I can understand and have thought about..

It seems to me that my life has meaning to the extent that I am able to fully remember myself as embedded in nature, and that to the extent I am able to help myself and other human beings lead happier and more loving lives, my life in turn contains more meaning.

As a psychedelic researcher, I’m amazingly fortunate in that my work does exactly that: It awakens others to more of their full and true nature and allows them to answer your question more fully for themselves.
