Excellence Reporter: Drs. Hulnick, what is the meaning of life?

Ron and Mary Hulnick: When we think about this question, the first thing that comes forward is the question, “To which reality are you referring?”

If you’re asking from the perspective of physical world reality, your answer would depend totally upon what you define as important. For some it might be a healthy family and for others it might be to become world famous in one area or another, such as writing or painting or becoming extremely wealthy and sharing your wealth with others.

If you’re asking from the perspective of Spiritual Reality, the answer would be to utilize your life for the purpose of experientially Awakening into the Conscious Awareness that your Essential Nature is Divine Love and that your Soul’s Purpose in this lifetime is to share your Love to the best of your ability wherever you go regardless of race, creed, color, situation, circumstance, or environment.

The journey of each Soul is composed of Ascending, one precious step after another, from physical world reality awareness into the Awareness of the Divine Loving that is the Essence of every being.

How do we know this? For the past 36 years, we have been engaged at the University of Santa Monica, originally named KOH-E-NOR (Mountain of Light) University, pioneering in large group experiential education designed for participants to climb the Mountain of Light and experientially discover the distinction between what life is like in physical world reality and Living one’s life in Spiritual Reality. What’s most interesting is that while the difference is HUGE, the process is one of continual small steps taken with clear intention.

It’s only when one looks back and sees how far they’ve climbed that they recognize, with astonishment, the very nature of the never-ending KOH-E-NOR and that the meaning of life can only be discerned as we shift our lens of perception from physical world reality into the focus that reveals the incredibly beautiful, all-inclusive dimension of Spiritual Reality.
