Excellence Reporter: Sri Krishna Kumar, what is the meaning of life?

P. R. Krishna Kumar: Life has no meaning unless and until we give a meaning to life. It is sad to find most of our fellow beings departing without having given any meaning with their own life. 

Vedas say that it is rare to be born as a human being and we can become complete only if we give a meaning to it and it’s because we have not given a meaning, our species are always addressed as human BEINGS, meaning, we are yet to become human. This unfortunate truth is not known to majority and if only they are taught by the parents or teachers (Gurus) that …….. that is the purpose of life and these are values of ancient texts, and many masters have given us a clear direction as to how to give meaning to life and how to achieve it. 

That was our mode of education which were after to children from the young age, and what they were taught was this way their parents learned and lived, whereas today’s education gives them a lot intelligence about the outer world, but sadly nothing about their inner world as to who they are or what are they here for, and how to realize the purpose of life and how to achieve it? And that is why today we find all the confusion in the lives of majority who are tensed, stressed, getting into drugs and drinks, a feeling of emptiness and the tendency to commit suicide, become terrorists, rapists and kill others etc.

If only we can teach everyone as to what is love and how to love without intensions, and learn the art of making everyone happy and master the game of helping others until it hurts them so that the receiver becomes happy and if we can realize how happy we become by the act of loving and giving. And if one can continue, these are are the things that make him happy all the time for no reason. Then life starts getting a meaning and one begins to understand that happiness cannot be from the outside and even one will become happy from an outer source, this cannot last forever, whereas if one realizes that everlasting happiness can only come from within for no reason. Thereafter one starts mastering the knowledge of how unique a creature we are and what an amazing person we become and that we are only chip of the block (Master) who created us and thereby we ourselves become a creator.

Thereafter we will start becoming what Maharshi Ramana said ”Performer of action through inaction” and our power of intention (Sankalpa Sakthi) gets sharpened and starts becoming more focused. We start hearing our inner voice clearly and whatever and however great is our mission prompted by the creator, it starts getting manifested and then we start loving ourselves and also start realizing that every creature on this Beautiful Earth — animate or inanimate — are all nothing but another creation of the lord and thus we start loving them and automatically all our desires vanish and in return we start getting blessed with much more than we thought or desired in our earlier days of our life.

Therefore surrender and realisation becomes meaningful and we start understanding and appreciating our own life and thereby life starts becoming meaningful.
