James Van Praagh: Find Love in Everything

James Van Praagh - Portraits

Nicolae Tanase: James, what is the meaning of life?

James Van Praagh: To answer this question, you must first ask yourself – what is life?

Your soul will experience many lives on many different planes, and this earthly life that seems so important right now is just one step in the soul journey. Because life on earth is so difficult, it provides an opportunity for many lessons to be learned.

I often say that the earth is the schoolhouse for the soul, and the ultimate lesson we are here to learn is unconditional love. Our mission is to reach this love state, loving ourselves and breathing that love into every single experience of every single day. For that to happen we must embrace forgiveness, mindfulness, gratitude, kindness and service to others, and let go of fear and judgment. Only then will we achieve our soul destiny and know the true meaning of life. Best of all, we will carry those lessons and that love vibration into our next lifetime.
