Excellence Reporter: Pastor Ron, what is the meaning of life?
Ron Vietti: I believe that God’s plan for mankind has always been to live their lives in divine connection with Him through accepting His Spirit’s invitation to live in their mortal bodies.
The world has always needed God in their lives, but have totally been unaware of it. We need His love and forgiveness as well as His divine provision on a daily basis. We need His divine power to love others, to forgive those who hurt us, and to get through the painful circumstances that life brings our way.
God wants to show the world that He has a plan for their lives. They were never meant to live a life separate from Him.
God desires to walk with people through their darkest hours and most confusing moments, and He chooses to do that through us. He desires to feed the hungry, care for the orphans, give to the poor, and help the hurting through us.
Our purpose is to accept this assignment and give all of our life to it. Only then will our life begin to make sense, and only then will we come to know our purpose for being here.
Jesus showed us the way by coming to this earth to be our model, guide, and redeemer. The Bible serves as our divine handbook and guide. We need to ask for His Holy Spirit to live in us in order to give us the power to carry out this divine assignment on earth. Then and only then will we know our purpose.
