Alphie McCourt: What is the Meaning of Life?

Excellence Reporter: Mr. McCourt, what is the meaning of life?

Alphie McCourt:

“Life is a bowl of soup. With little control over the quality of the ingredients – bits of beef, chicken, carrots, potatoes, onions and all that – we prepare it, eat it, drink and enjoy it.  Satisfied, we sigh, stretch and burp.

In the end we travel on up to add our voice, for better or for worse, to that great and eternal vibration.

Our Life is barely a pimple on the arse of infinity. Yeah! But what a pimple!”
