Excellence Reporter: John, what is the meaning of life?

John Spence: I wish that I could give you something dramatic and expounding, but I’ve studied this subject for nearly all of my adult life, read hundreds of books, listen to countless hours of seminars, talked to many, many people and to me the meaning of life seems quite simple:

“To love and be of service to others.”

That’s really all there is.
