Tim Brownson: The Meaning of Life… An Easy Question

TimExcellence Reporter: What is the meaning of life, Tim?

Tim Brownson: I’m so glad you asked me such an easy question, couldn’t we have just discussed Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle to make it more testing!

I could say 42, because Douglas Adams said that and he was brighter than me, but I’m not sure what we do with 42.

To me life is about being as happy as we can, doing meaningful work (and that can be anything from being a check out person who helps hundreds of people per week to a Quantum Physicist), doing no harm and doing our best to make the world a better place. I know that sounds trite, but imagine if we all adopted that principle how different the world would be. Also I doubt we’d even be discussing the meaning of life because everybody’s life would have meaning.
